My grand mother used to make these dress when I was little and now I am making for my daughter and her friends. It looks complicated but it is really easy. It can be finished very quickly! I have added some explanation about ripple pattern and I added lots of picture to make pattern clear. I hope that it helps you to understand.

I have used cotton yarn but Acrylic or wool yarn can be used for autumn and winter use.

It has got button at the back so it is really easy to dress and undress.

Size
Chest : 19”
Length : 13” (2y) Older children require length. However, just add the rows at the end as you wish.

Material
Hook : 4 mm hook
Yarn : DK yarn
Gauge : 17 stitches and 8 rows of dc = 4" x 4"

I used SIDAR SIMPLY RECYCLED (Sells in UK)
Light worsted yarn can be used.
